About Living Florilegium:
The word "anthology"-- and its Latin counterpart, "florilegium"-- translates to "gathering of flowers." Both terms describe collections of literary works, comparing words to the beauty of blossoms. The image of living flowers reminds us of the environmental cost of Artificial Intelligence, and the unlikely connection made between flowers and words displays human creativity at its finest. Therefore, the title of this anthology, Living Florilegium, celebrates human creation in an age of AI.
About 20 contributors of essays, poems, art, and fiction have joined in this volume to explore the concept of human creation in the AI age. Every selection highlights something uniquely human.
