Dude's Gotta River Raft / Magali Marmota Adicta Al Rafting

Who is Magali?

Good question.

Magali is an ordinary French marmot.

At least, she was.

Then she met a hare, two foxes, and a group of mountain animals with a talent for turning simple ideas into complete chaos.

This bilingual adventure tells a complete story in English and Spanish, presented on facing pages.

It's for young readers, bilingual families, teachers, and language learners.

This time, a new obsession is sweeping through the French Alps: river rafting.

Magali was supposed to stay out of trouble. Instead, she and her mountain friends discover a brand-new sport!

"The Dudes" are determined to become champion rafters - despite the small problem that none of them have ever rafted before.

Or swum.

As the animals sneak out at night to practise on the freezing mountain river, Magali finds herself swept into another chaotic adventure involving:

• midnight training sessions,
• dangerous rapids,
• a Saint Bernard puppy with terrible brakes,
• and one very arrogant wild boar who thinks he's already the champion.

The only problem?

The river has a mind of its own.
